Course objectives:
|
The goal of the subject is to present to students following topics: Definition and basic terminology in GIS. Fundamentals of GIS. Data structure of GIS - simple and hierarchy data structure, raster data structure. Fundamentals of vector data structure - points, lines and polygons. Data getting and organization. GIS control.

Requirements on student
|
Requirements for pre-exam:
Successfully complete a term project.
Requirements have to be fulfilled until the end of the term.
Requirements for the exam:
The exam consists of a written, practical and oral part. The student has to pass all of them.
